around grove and old pasture.

No insects reported. Heavy weed pressure around
grove and old pasture.
6/28/04. Soybeans V5.
Weeds dying. No insects reported.

BLB=0.1 Bean leaf beetle just starting in field.
7/23/04. BLB = 0.7/sweep.
The 1st generation BLB have emerged but are under economic
threshold. Aphids still have not been found.
7/28/04. Soybeans R3.
BLB =.7/sweep. Aphids=.02/plant. BLB peaked
and aphids are increasing. No 2nd generation BLB treatment
required.
8/6/04. Sobyeans R4.
BLB=.8/sweep. .8 aphids/plant. BLB will
not be treated in this field. Aphid numbers are
about 1/plant.
8/11/04. Soybeans R4.
BLB=.2/sweep. 7.6 Soybean aphids per plant.

1st generation BLB numbers are starting to drop.
