6/4/04:  Soybeans V1.  Corn ?  No insects reported.  Soybeans have ponded areas.  Watch for stand reduction.  Heavy dandelion patches slowly dying in beans.

6/9/04:  Soybeans V1.  Corn V3.  No insects reported.

6/17/04:  Soybeans V3.  BLB = .5.  1-2% damage by bean leaf beetles on beans.  Beans have good weed kill but will need respraying or cultivated within 10 days.  Corn V5.  No insects reported.  Corn needs sprayed or cultivated within 7 days.

6/21/04:  Soybeans V5.  Corn V6.  No insects reported.

6/27/04.  Soybeans V6.  Corn ?  All fields cultivated 6/27.  Soybeans will need sprayed next week.

8/17/04.  Soybeans R4. Corn  R?.  BLB=4 per 20 sweeps.  Soybeans look excellent, but pod counts are somewhat disappointing.  Fields need heat and a late frost.  Corn is showing N defieiencies.  Yield estimate = 138 bu.

8/26/04.  Soybeans R4.  Corn R4.  BLB=3 per 20 sweeps.  Wooly cupgrass is coming on in the soybeans, may need to respray.
