7/14/04.  Soybeans R2.  BLB= 0.1/sweep.  Corn R1.

7/23/04. Soybeans R2.  BLB=0.3/sweep.  No aphids.   Corn R2.

7/29/04.  Soybeans R3. BLB=.38/sweep.  No aphids.  Soybean growth stage ranges from R2-R4 due to replant.  Corn R3.  No insects reported.

8/6/04.  Soybeans R3.  BLB=.38/sweep.  No aphids.  Corn R3.  No insects reported.

8/13/04.  Soybeans R3.  BLB=.1/sweep.  No aphids.  Corn R3.  Soybeans suffered some herbicide damage week of August 2-9, and due to replant are generally slow in developing.  Took chlorophyl readings in corn to measure nitrogen levels - stripping is visible from aerial photograph.  Sequential readings, per 12 rows, of 59.3, 53.6, 62.1, 54.4, 59.3 are indicative of varying nitrogen application levels.
