6/26/04. Soybeans R1.  No SB insects reported. Corn V12.  ECB = 5.5/10 plants, Instar 2.  Alfalfa 12-16" regrowth.

6/26/04. Soybeans R1.   No insects reported.   Corn V12.  ECB1=5.5, Instar 2.  Alfalfa Regrowth = 12"-16"

7/7/04. Soybeans R2.  No insects reported.  Corn V15.  Sprayed Mustang for ECB.  Azuki beans V6.  1.8 potato leafhopper nymphs/plant.  Alfalfa fresh cut.  No insects reported.

7/14/04.  Soybeans R2.  BLB=0.1/sweep.  Corn R2.  Alfalfa Regrowth = 4-8".  0.4 leafhoppers/sweep on alfalfa.  Azuki beans R1.  Seven (7) leafhopper nymphs per plant.  This is above threshold and the azuki beans have been sprayed.

7/23/04.  Soybeans R2.  BLB = .9/sweep.  Corn R2.  Alfalfa Regrowth = 12-16".  4 oz.  Mustang applied on 7/19/04 to azuki beans and alfalfa to control potato leafhoppers.

7/29/04.  Soybeans R4.  BLB=2/sweep.  Corn R3.  No insects reported.  Alfalfa Regrowth 12-18".  Azuki Beans R3.

8/7/04.  Soybeans R5.  BLB=2/sweep.  Corn R3.  Alfalfa fresh cut. Azuki Beans R5/R6, 0.2 BLB/sweep.

8/13/04.  Soybeans R5.  BLB=.8/sweep.  1 aphid/plant. Corn R3.  Alfalfa regrowth 4-8". Leafhoppers.4/sweep.   Azuki Beans R5/R6 Noted just a few aphids - no high concentrations or anything approaching threshhold.  Some white mold in soybean test plots.

8/21/04.  Soybeans R6.  BLB=.5/sweep.  1 aphid/plant.  Corn R5.  WBCW=.2.  Alfalfa regrowth = 8-12"

leafhoppers=1.1/sweep.  Noted aphids in isolated areas - no high concentrations.  Corn rootworm beetles .2/plant.   High PLH count is on new alfalfa field - far southwest.  Older stands at similar height of regrowth  had counts in .1-.3 range.  Azukis at R6/R7.
