Water Quality Monitoring

Water quality data are used to characterize waters, identify trends over time, identify emerging problems, determine whether pollution control programs are working and help direct pollution control efforts to where they are most needed. Along with our partners, we are collecting data and collaboratively using the water quality monitoring information we get from others to better understand how to protect and manage our waters and watersheds.
